Terri Popielarz
Sports Car Driver
Terri Popielarz (Hundertmark) has been racing cars competitively
for three years. Prior to four-wheel racing, Terri was an
internationally ranked Jet Ski Racer where she competed on the Pro
Runabout Tour for seven years.
Following her success on the water, Terri earned her first Skip
Barber Formula Dodge podium in 1999 and her first Women's' Global GT
Series top-five in 2000. She is a two-time Michelin One Lap of
America competitor (1999, 2000), and competed in the Longest Night
of Moroso (1998) on KML Racing’s All Women’s Team in a SRF.
She is a Michelin Tire factory-supported driver and finished
eighth in the 2000 WGGTS season-long points. Away from the track,
Terri is the sole female spokesperson for Racing For Kids, a
national charity designed to raise awareness of sick and needy
children through the popularity of motorsports. Terri recently
married CART crew chief, Dave Popielarz.
