Marybeth Harrison
SCCA Trans-Am Series Driver
 
Marybeth fell in love with racing after taking a high
performance driving course in 1992. She has since made racing her
full time career and is currently racing in the B.F. Goodrich Trans Am Series.
She has won races in karting, ice racing, sedans, Legends cars,
and Formula cars. She holds the track record for her class at
Mission Raceway Park in Vancouver, and last year, in her first year
of open-wheel racing, won the Canadian Formula Drivers Association
(CFDA) championship.
Marybeth is a racing instructor at the ProFormance Race Drivers
School, and has completed other racing programs at tracks including
Las Vegas Superspeedway, Bondurant and Road America.
Marybeth is a PPG Pace Car Driver and travels with the CART
Fedex Championship to numerous races throughout the year.
She is also involved in Racing Against Drugs, making speeches
to school children. And she hosts the "Car Care Corner" segment of
Inside Track, the car review show, broadcast weekly throughout
Canada and the US.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She has
experience in TV, radio and automotive journalism. Today, her major
focus is in providing her sponsors with marketing opportunities that
help them gain market share, build brand awareness and increase
sales.
