Kim Kasye Jones was born into racing and has been around racing all her life. From the time she was a little girl, she was either in the garage, the shop, the pits or at the track. "My dad raced NASCAR Modifieds on the Northeast Circuit, so I ate it, smelled it, drank it, and lived it from the time I was a little girl. I am a true believer that you are born a racer, that racing is in your blood. You just don't decide one day your going to race cars, it has to be within you and you have to feel it."...

As my race season moves along, I am grateful to all the people who are giving their unconditional support towards my racing again. My decision to take a year off from racing last year was a difficult one. I felt I had some good momentum from the previous year (1999) finishing the Neon Challenge series fifth in points and my drive to win was almost unbearable...it was all I could think about...

The Cascar Super Series visited the oldest street race course in North America, Trios Rivers, Quebec. The Weather Network team didn’t start the weekend out the best, with injury in the pits and broken car parts. We managed to qualify 19th on the starting grid, and finished an impressive 6th place. I was top rookie for the third time this year....
