Timing was everything for Michele Leo when she was starting out. "I had to wait until I was 16 to drive, so the year when I was 15 went by so slow. I was so excited to race. My race car was all built and ready to go and the race season was in April. I was the High School Champion that year."....
"Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it," my father always said. Indeed, I wished to participate in the fastest growing road racing series in North America, the Speedvision World Challenge GT Series. Sunday, March 4 at Texas Motor Speedway, that wish became reality. I contested the SVWC GT race for the first time on the 2-mile "roval," a road course and oval combined. ....
We are off!! Well almost!! I find it hard to believe that we will be racing in four weeks!! I am back to work after having my six week vacation. A complete hysterectomy was done, so now all those female parts are gone and we can just focus on the testosterone. I will be sure to forget my patch on Saturdays to see if that makes me good and ornery....
