Vice President, Marketing and Development, 1990 to 1993
Responsibilities included securing corporate sponsorship and
foundation and government underwriting for national, regional,
and local television productions for distribution on public
television, cable, and other outlets. Also responsible for seeking
out and working with independent television producers in the
development of new projects for national distribution.
WTTW/Chicago,

Director of Development, 1988 to 1990
Responsibilities included major gift fund raising, for general
operating funds, from individuals, corporations, and foundations
in the Chicago area. Also responsible for targeted approaches
to foundations and corporations nation-wide to fund capital
and other non-production needs of the station.
Charles
R. Feldstein and Company
Fund Raising Manager, 1984 to 1988
Under the leadership of Charles R. Feldstein, provided fund
raising consultation for a variety of clients. Responsibilities
included liaison between Boards of Directors and senior staff,
the development of fund raising campaign strategies and structures,
the formation of campaign committees, the execution of campaign
studies, the writing of proposals and reports, and the support
of volunteers in their fund raising solicitation.
The
Center for New Television
President, 1977 to 1983
Founder, in 1977, and chief executive officer of this not for
profit media arts center and support organization for independent
television producers. CNTV provides production and post production
facilities at low cost, carries out an extensive workshop series,
organizes exhibitions of the work of video artists and documentarians,
publishes a magazine, provides grants and loans for productions
and acts as an information center and meeting ground for the
television production community. Responsibilities included board
development and liaison, policy and program development, fund
raising, fiscal management and staff supervision.
Communications
for Change
Executive Director, 1971 to 1985
Founder, in 1971, and chief executive officer of this not for
profit television production company which was dedicated to
exploring ways for social agencies, civic groups, arts organizations,
governmental agencies, community organizations and others to
use television effectively. Responsibilities included fund raising,
fiscal management, board liaison, project and policy development
and staff supervision. Communications for Change provided consultation,
technical assistance and television production services.

Served on panels which reviewed proposals for funding of independently

Served, for periods of from one to three years, on panels including:
Public Media; Film/Video; Multi-Arts; and Creative Artists.

Illinois Humanities Council, Former Member, Advisory Panel
Served on the media advisory panel which reviews proposals and
recommends funding by the Council.

Served on the Board of this not for profit media arts center.

Headed the Board of this five hundred member liberal religious
community.
